[1]          David Rees: Good afternoon. Can I welcome Members to this afternoon’s session of the External Affairs and Additional Legislation Committee? Can I remind Members that the meeting is bilingual? Therefore, the headphones are available from Welsh to English on channel 1 or for amplification on channel 0. Can I also remind Members to please switch off or turn onto silent any electronic equipment that may interfere with the broadcasting? There’s no fire alarm scheduled today. So, if one does take place, please follow the directions of the ushers. We’ve received apologies from Jeremy Miles and Mark Isherwood, and can I welcome Mark Reckless as a substitute for Mark Isherwood? Welcome.

Papers to Note

[2]          David Rees: We move on now to the next item on the agenda, which is papers to note. The first is the correspondence from the Chair of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee to the Business Committee regarding its work on the European Union (Withdrawal) Bill, a session which we shared with them. Are Members happy to note that? Just for information purposes, we’ve also written and we have received a response from the Llywydd today, but it will be in our papers for next week.

[3]          The second paper to note is correspondence from the Llywydd regarding the Senedd@Delyn event, requesting that committees consider whether we wish to hold our meetings in Delyn or do any outreach activities. Are Members content to note the paper and perhaps consider it future work?

[4]          Suzy Davies: Yes, we’ll consider it in private session.

[5]          David Rees: Thank you.
